LG, the Korean Giant best known for its cellphones and flat-screen TVs hopes to make a name for itself in PCs in the USA too. THat’s why, Skott Ahn tells Forbes, they will be releaseing the already poplular in Europe, X110 Netbook model in the USA sometime before July 2009.
The X110 debuted last fall and is available in most major markets around the world, except the U.S. Other details of the release are still up in the air, and nothing has been heard from LG officially, but we are confident something will come soon. The device’s unsubsidized price will be around $400.
Finally, as a sidenote, let’s keep our fingers crossed they they’ll simulataneously announce the US sale of the new X120 which deubted at the Mobile World Congress trade show in Barcelona in February, and is scheduled to go on sale in Europe later this month.
